Disc golf is an outdoor sport in which players throw a flying disc (frisbee) into a target basket (called a basket) in a manner similar to traditional golf. The goal is to complete each “hole” in the fewest number of throws possible. Main features of Disc Golf: The playground consists of many stations (usually 9 or 18 stations), each station has a tee and an iron basket with a chain to catch the disc. How to play: The player throws the disc from the starting point, continues to throw from where the disc falls until the disc flies into the basket. Specialized discs: There are different types of discs such as driver (long throw), mid-range (medium) and putter (close throw, into the basket). Play individually or in groups. Environmentally friendly, low cost, suitable for all ages. In Vietnam, it is currently being pioneered by the RecSports Department http://discgolf.edu.vn
